Is this the same as interior design?

No. Interior design focuses primarily on aesthetics. While we absolutely care about how your home looks and feels, my work is grounded in building biology and the science of how your environment influences your body and nervous system. We look at materials, air, light, and patterns of use—not just colors and furniture.

How do I know what’s truly healthy?

It’s understandable to feel confused. VOC levels alone are not a reliable indicator of whether a product is truly supportive for long-term health. Some products can have low VOCs and still contain problematic ingredients. Instead, we look at ingredient transparency, third-party certifications, and how materials perform over time. I’ll help you interpret labels, marketing language, and certifications so your choices are grounded in clarity—not fear.
